Cambridge, MD Harriet Tubman’s home town, is home to a rich African American Heritage and the freedom trail for many African Americans. It is also, home to some pretty awesome street art that celebrates the seafaring traditions of the locales as well as a rich tradition of celebrating African-Americans!

Once a year we come to the Hyatt in Cambridge and we relax for the entire weekend. It is glorious! But, when you visit you must have the crab dip, it is to die for!
Last year we had the privilege of being the hotel for the opening weekend of the Harriet Tubman Center and we spoke with the curators of the center. We were unaware of the huge contribution this area made to the liberation of so many people held in the bondage of slavery.
Cambridge offers a little bit of something for everyone, visit soon you won’t be sorry!
