In 2012, the Annapolis government in conjunction with a fresh food movement decided to allow Annapolis residents to have up to six hens in their backyard for fresh eggs. Shortly after in 2013 local restauranteur Gavin Buckley and Judy Danek of several farm-to- table restaurants. They decided to launch an art initiative of artists designed chickens around the city. They use the hashtag #Cluck4art. Once again the intersection of art and food abounds!
